Account & data deletion
This page explains how to request deletion of your account and related data, as required by Google Play and similar store policies.
How to delete your account
Follow these steps in the app. Your account will be deactivated immediately after confirmation.

Open the app and sign in
Launch Play TOPIK+ on your device and sign in with the account you want to delete.

Go to Profile
From the Home screen, tap your profile area at the top to open the Profile screen.

Open Settings
Tap the settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner of the Profile screen.

Choose withdrawal
Scroll to the bottom and tap “Service Withdrawal”.

Confirm
Read the notice and tap “Yes” to complete withdrawal. You will no longer be able to sign in with this account.
If you cannot use the app
If you cannot sign in or no longer have your device, you may email us using the address below. Please include the email address used at registration.

Email requests are processed within 7 business days of receipt.
Data that is deleted or retained
Upon withdrawal, data is handled as follows. Deletion cannot be undone.
- Account identifiers — Email, nickname, name, and phone number are anonymised so you can no longer be identified.
- Profile photo — Uploaded profile images are removed from storage.
- Push token — FCM token and device notification linkage are cleared.
- Login sessions — JWT tokens and active sessions are invalidated; you cannot sign in again.
- Account status — The account is deactivated and service access stops.
Retained or anonymised linkage

Important notes
- Re-registration with the same email or social account may be restricted immediately after withdrawal.
- Some data may remain in anonymised form for statistics and service operation without identifying you.
